The PainSmith is proud to announce the renewal of two sponsorships for the 2025-2026 school year. As a small business operating in Stone Oak, we feel that it is vitally important to support our local area schools. To that end, we have renewed our sponsorships of Las Lomas Elementary through their PTA for the third year and Ronald Reagan High School athletics through the Diamondbackers Sports Association for the second year in a row.
Dr. Smith’s philosophy towards sponsorships reflects his own experience as a public school student. “Having attended public schools, I understand the importance of well-funded local schools when it comes to educating the next generation. I am glad that these sponsorships will directly support students at these schools in so many different capacities.”
According to the Diamondbackers Sports Association website: “(The) goal…is to provide an infrastructure to support our student athletes and enhance their High School athletic experience…The funds raised by the Association directly benefit ALL athletes at Reagan High School by providing equipment, uniforms, field improvements, tournament fees/travel/hotels, coaching clinics, and team banquets, just to name a few.”
From the website for the Las Lomas Elementary chapter of the PTA: “We help enhance our students’ education by supporting our students, staff, and families with programs and services…Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for every child.”
As part of our annual sponsorships, you can see our street-facing banner in front of Las Lomas Elementary on Hardy Oak Boulevard, and our ad in the Reagan Athletic All-Sports program at all home games. If your organization is looking for support, feel free to send us a request at [email protected] or send us a message through the contact form on our website.

Dear Painsmith Patients
Re: Important Notice: Closure of The Painsmith, PLLC and Transfer of Your Medical Records
On August 3rd, 2026, I sent out notices that I would unfortunately be unable to continue practicing at Painsmith to the same high standard that my patients deserve. I also indicated that we were talking with other local pain management physicians regarding who would be best able to serve my patients moving forward. I have been able to locate another local practice that I feel meets or exceeds the level of care and has the capacity to take on additional patients. My top priority remains making sure your care continues without interruption.
To that end, I have arranged for ReleviiMed, led by Dr. Manuel Ybarra, M.D. and a team of providers, to serve as the custodian of medical records for our patients going forward, and I strongly recommend you reach out to ReleviiMed to continue your care. Their physicians have reviewed our practice’s treatment approach and are prepared to take on our patients, including those with ongoing pain management plans, without a gap in care.
Thank you,
William Zachary Smith, MD
